  长期以来,中医药由于缺乏疗效评价工具,难以评价有效性,导致中医药与西方医药竞争中处于弱势地位。周教授心系我国中医药发展,基于诊断和因果研究工作理论基础,在统计方法学上为中医药提供有效性支撑,使中医证候诊断量表中医疗效的评价更加精确、合理,对于中医药研究的规范化和标准化起到了积极的促进作用,在很大程度上解决了传统中医药面临的难题,有利于提高中医药相关研究的科学性和可信度。2021年其研发的核心技术“证候诊断工具评价与疗效因果推断的统计方法创新”荣获世界中联中医药国际贡献奖-科技进步奖二等奖。此外,周教授在北京大学重庆大数据研究院带领团队,申请了3项软件著作权,并以此为基础研发全国首个基于大数据的中医证候诊断与疗效评价平台,赋能基层中医,促进中医服务升级,更好地服务于广大患者。
 

       基于知识图谱的中西医结合知识库构建了一个全面详细的中西结合医药知识数据库,汇聚疾病、证候、症状、药品、古今方剂、中药饮片、中草药、中成药、经络穴位、辅助检验、医学检查、手术、临床指南、医学文献等各类医学知识,并应用海量数据与人工智能技术构建起一套完整的医疗领域知识图谱。
       新一代中医辨证论治智能辅助诊疗系统以重大疾病和中医优势病种为切入点,依托领先的中医证候诊断与疗效评价技术,汇聚亿级的中西医知识内容和数百位名老中医经验,针对20多个中医专科的1000多种常见疾病和5000多种证候实现中医辨证论治智能辅助,为基层中医赋能,提高基层中医临床水平,服务中医药传承发展。
       中医证候诊断与疗效评价平台,从诊断量表的制定与中医药疗效评价两个方面进行设计。诊断量表制定平台是根据量表制定操作规范进行关键环节的设置、通过证候术语库、专家库、病例库、算法库,整个支撑起中医科研团队在量表制定的全流程操作,并通过平台算法提供了统计分析功能,全面助力量表制定。疗效评价平台是根据疗效评价标准体系研究为基础,结合数据结构化操作、经验智能化转化等应用于中医药临床研究中。
